Papa's Chicken Cacatori

1 large can of diced tomatoes
1/2 onion
1-2 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp. of olive oil
1/2 tbsp basil flakes
3/4 tsp. sugar (or 1 carrott)
1/4 cup marsala cooking wine (1/2 cup if doubling recipe)
2-4 chicken breasts
mushrooms
parmesan cheese

1. Chop onion and garlic and saute with olive oil until soft.
2. Add tomatoes, basil falkes, and sugar. Cook at medium until boil thensimmer, covered for 45-1 hour. stirring often. Add marsala cooking wine when done.
3. Spread layer of sauce in a pan and place chicken breasts in pan. Scatter mushrooms around then add the rest of the sauce.
4. Cook at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour (longer, if there is dark meat)
5. Cook pasta
